I have plans for this blog… but not big plans!

I have four small children, a half renovated house, chickens, bees, a neglected garden and a blog. I am pretty busy already and the idea of writing a second blog is kinda of scary to contemplate, and yet, here I am.

I’m here because I am a blog design nerd, because I like reading about web design and how that relates to blogs, because I like learning CSS and PHP (well mostly), because I like creating, and I’m here because I thought I might share some of that with anyone who is interested.

But most of my blogging energy is spent over at my personal blog – Picklebums, and that is where it will remain.

I am not so insane to think I can manage to write a zillion great post for this blog and for picklebums, so I’m not even going to try.

What I am going to do is slowly add content here, as time and family and blogging permits.

I have a long list of ideas – posts about using fonts on your blog, white space, and using images, tutorials on how to edit images using online photo editing software, and free resources such as photos, images, buttons and banners to jazz up your blog.

And of course this site is my design portfolio and the place to come if you are interested in me doing some design work for you.

So please bare with me while I get things going here and please let me know if there are any resources, tips, tutorials or posts you’d like to see here!
